Data Cube too Large

Hello,

I am having trouble exporting data from project to excel using data
cubes. I am using microsoft project professional 2007.

When i try saving the data cube it tells me

"Your project is too large to support reporting at the level of data
you have chosen.

To create a report off your project, try selecting a less precise level
of usage data. For better performance, use the level that is
automatically selected."

Now thats all very well and good but i need to have resource
information on a weekly basis for forecasting purposes with relation to
my other projects which are on a weekly basis. But for this project it
wants me to export data on a yearly basis for some reason.

What confuses me is that I have much larger projects that span a larger
amount of time, that have much more activites and a larger range of
resources in them too that i am able to report on a weekly basis
without any difficulties.

Does anybody know of any settings that may help fix this problem. I am
saving assignment usage data.

Any help regarding this matter would be much apreciated.

Is the file size of the problem project significantly larger than the
other files? You may have luck following the guidance in FAQ #43 at:

Hello Julie,

The file wasn't actually larger, but one of our tech support guys found
that this particular files connection to the database was corrupted and
once that problem was resolved I have been able to run the project as
usual.
