Data error-cyclic redundancy check. How do I stop this?

Sherwood Park man.

1. When I save Word files, I get "Data Error - cyclic redundancy check" saved
with my Word documents.
2. Also, at times I cannot open files because I not the adminstrator. How do
I over ride this?
3. Hope you can help me out.
