Hello,
This issue could be sap program issue - in that case it's not appropriate to
post here. But it also could be excel 2007 issue - so in that case:
I'm using standard sap gui "export to excel" functionality. After some
transaction execution I get results, looks like table or grid. If I select
standard Export->Spreadsheet when excel 2003 is installed, I get results as
expected.
But if excel 2007 is installed, all number cells get number format
'general'. For example transaction result grid has date data '2009.06.03'
(local date format). In excel 2003 this cell will get 'date' format (Fromat
Cells...->Number) While in excell 2007 it will get 'general' format, and
value will be 39967, if I change number format to 'date' manually it will
have right value '2009.06.03'
So the data is preserver only format is lost.
How do I fix that ?
Our users feel uncomfortable because of that.
thanks
Vilius
