Using Outlook 2003, Outlook Hotmail Connector, Multiple accounts of various
types (1 Hotmail, 2 POP3, 5 IMAP)
In the course of trouble shooting recurring PST file (the one that contains
my personal folders) corruption I created a new profile from scratch and
created each account new, except for the Hotmail account. I then started
Outlook, selected my new profile, and Connector prompted me to enter
information for my Hotmail account. All well and good at this point.
After creation of the Hotmail account, Outlook then downloaded messages for
all those accounts. This was lengthy, but successful.
HOWEVER...when I start the Mail control panel applet and click the "Data
Files" button the files I see are those from only my first profile. There
was a complete set of new files created when I made that new profile, but I
don't see those.
Why is this, and should I care?
