Data file location in FP2003

John

I just installed FP2003. (OS = Win XP)
It seems that the only location where it wants to store my web pages on my
computer is in "C:\Documents and Settings\name\My Documents\My Web Sites."

I want to store these files in a folder of my choice, and I want this folder to
come up when I open FP2003 (like in Microseft Word where under "Tools" >
"Options" > "File Locations" where I can specify the folder to which I want the
files to be saved.

I have looked for a similar option in FP2003 but failed to find it.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Hi John,

That is the default location. To chose or create a folder of your choice use File | New | Web Site then select the type of web site
you wish to create and the location of where you wish to create it at.

If you do a Tools | Options | General Tab | check open last web option when starting FP will cause the last web opened to be opened
when FP is started.

The location is stored in the registry
The tool at http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm will let you set a new location
