Data flow from PWA

Hi,

I'm trying to find data flow for the operation in 2007 where a project
schedule file is opened from PWA for editing in Project Professional.
I've got the downloadable book and hunted around, but am struggling to
get confirmation of the flow.

I am currently assuming the file opened from Project Centre (actions,
edit) is loaded from the published database into the cache. The cache
then loads any delta between published and draft. Draft is king so the
draft version is the one displayed in project professional. From there
the data flow is as detailed in "Planning and Architecture for Office
Project Server 2007".

Can anyone confirm, correct, etc.
