data from WORD to EXCEL

I want to transfer data from WORD to EXCEL, but Excel either takes away the
text colors or spreads the data down through other cells. I think the
problem wouldn't exist if EXCEL and WORD used "returns" the same way.

Hi Rick,

Is the data you are referring to located within a table in Word? What steps
are you taking to move the data?
