Hello...
I have noted a strange error using Project Professional and working with the
data saved in it's database...
I have a project with 3 levels of tasks... By mistake, I moved a task from
the level 1 to level 2, staying as a node of another task... I corrected by
pressing "ctrl + z", and saved/published the project... After that, the
application that I made that works with the data from project crashed
completely!
I opened the project again in Project Professional and the structure was
fine... Then, I looked at the msp_tasks table and the structure was a mess...
The outline levels and the wbs was conflicting and the task that I moved,
who didn't have a parent task, was referencing as it's parent task the task
that was it's root when I made the mistake! In another words, I made the undo
action but it doesn't got it!
After that, I opened the project, create another task and deleted it...
Then, saved/published it... The structure on database was back to normal!
I made the same things several times to have sure that I wasn't crazy, and
all times it happened!
Somebody ever saw the same problem? If the structure on database lose itself
with changes that involve "ctrl+z", how the project structure in Project
Professional stands fine? Am I seeing the data on the correct database?
Please, let me know if someone figures it out, or even if has any
information of it...
Thank you very much!
