Data Integrity MS Acess 2000 and 97

We have 2 different access databases on our server. 1 database is running on
Access97 and the other is running on Access 2000. Different data elements
are disappearing after a successful save on both databases. There are only a
few users accessing these databases and they are not accessing at the same
time. Is there any explanation for this?
