Probably a stupid question however, I was wondering where the dta is stored
with useing Groove Manager and Relay Servers? Does the data remain on the
work station only or is the data also storeed on the server as well? If on
the server which one and how can I verify that it is actually being stored on
the server.

TIA,

The Groove Manager only stores information related to Groove account (Who
you are, in which group you are, with each usage and security policies you
have to work...etc). As said by SBC these information are stored in a SQL
Server database and managed through a web application.

Data you share with another Groove user in a workspace are stored on both
your computers. The data ARE NOT stored on a server.
The relay server is only use to store temporarely what we call "deltas" :
some small and encrypted piece of data.... In fact, A relay is just a buffer
used to synchronize information when users are not online at the same time,
or are working on differents networks or with different bandwiths...

Groove is not based on a centralized approach but on a distributed one...
It is one of its main assets...
