Data Loss in Excel

Several employees report data loss after saving files
several times. All systems are laptop based have windows
2000 and AOL. All occurrances have happened in the last 3
days. Has anyone heard or seen anything like this before?

Pete:

Are the saving locally or to a network share. If its a network, you may
have based on the recent occurance, a newly bad nic on the server or a
problem with a router etc.
