I've just switched to Outlook 2010 on a new machine, and my contacts and emails have copied across successfully, but the list of e-mail addresses being used by autocomplete is very incomplete.
One option is to transfer the list from my old Outlook, but what I'd rather do is scan the 3000+ emails in my inbox and add each of the senders to the autocomplete list.
I'd love to write a VBA macro to accomplish this, but I'm afraid the Outlook object model is rather confusing! I've written some simple macros for Excel VBA before, but I couldn't find an object in the Outlook data model that corresponded to the autocomplete list. I didn't really know what to look for.
If anyone could give me a pointer in the right direction, I'd be very grateful, and I'll certainly post the macro if I get it working.
