Data Modelling problem with Disconnecting Relationship
I create 2 entities on page 1 and create a relationship between them
Later on page 2, I have the same relationship showing between the same two entities. I re-position the relationship to a new connection point on page 2 for display appearance. I have not 'deleted' or 'removed' the relationship
Later when I go back to page 1, the relationship is gone (no warning or anything)
I have tried both locking and protecting page 1 when I am finished with it. This keep the relationship line in the diagram, but when I unlock page 1 and select the relationship, it no longer has any properties. It is just a line and not a 'true' relationship
Is there any way to 'preserve' relationships on prior diagrams in case you accidently disconnect it for a second on a subsequent page?. The re-routing layout seems inadequate for busy diagrams and I find I must use static connection points which then will disconnect the relationships on previous pages
Any advice is appreciated since I have given up.
