Data Modelling Add-in

Does any one know if one can send a command to the "DB Engineer" add-
in and get returned the 'Note field associated with an Entity or
relationship?

I am wanting to create a call out shape which when glued to an entity
or relation will display the object's Note field. I had a look around
the ShapeSheet and the value isn't stored there. Does anyone know
haow the model is stored? Is it documented at all anywhere?

But I am not sure they get the solutions.

the data modeling add-ins has a proprietary interface with no published
api's. one of the techniques often discussed is to save as xml and then try

Thanks for your reply. I tried the Orthogonal Toolbox but it doesn't
seem to expose the Notes items. Ah well... It would seem as though
all the information is available via the MODELENG.DLL but I can't see
how to connect to the right instance and hence get at the model.
