data problem

Hi

i am getting soma data from a database trough a query in vba. its
working fine, but when i have a date field, some times the excel
unnderstands the date as american date and sometimes as braziliam date
( the diferrence is on the order, in brazil the day is the first, then
we have the month and the year dd/mm/yyyy)

i need them all to be equal, as in brazil or us. is there any way to
convert this?
