Data provider could not be initialized. Invalid file name?

I have made a Data Access Page (DAP) in MS Access since it is a much more
flexible tool to make database result pages. Before I have made them in FP
with no problems at all, although they look very industrial like.

I just can't get the DAP to work. I get various error messages depending on
the settings I am trying, but the most common seems to be "Data provider
could not be initialized" "Invalid file name".

How come FP can access the database but not a DAP? Are they using different
methods of access, where one is allowed and the other not?
