Data Restore

When you do a data restore from a backup, does this simple replace all the
contact files with the contacts in the backup?

In other words, I'm wondering if one needs to remove all the old contacts
before you do a restore of old data?

When you restore a Business Contact Manager database backup, it will replace
all the existing items in the BCM folders. Please restart outlook after doing
the restore to view the changes.
