Data source configuration

Luis

Hi all, I'm new to access and was hoping that someone could help me.
I've been given a database that was written by someone to use and when
I open it up, I get a prompt saying that it can't find the file
e:\mydatabase.mdb. I'm assuming that this is the location of the data
to be accessed. My question is, where is this configured? I've tried
looking through the options but can't seem to find it...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Luis

By the look of that E: it is just possible that the writer either had linked
tables for this database on a CD Rom or that he split the database into
frontend backend. Can you actually open the database at all?

If you know the correct full pathname of the datasource, use the Menu Tools
/ Database Utilities... / Link Table Manager to re-link the required Tables.
