Data source structure changes

I have learned the hard way that adding/deleting fields or changes to
data type in the Main data source can cause problems with previously
submitted forms. Does this also apply to Groups? For example, can a
regular group be changed to a repeating group without casing a problem
with older forms?

Hi, I think to change a regular group to a repeating group won't bring a big
issue. The older forms will only show one repeating section in the form view
with the new form template. But to change a repeating group to a regular
group maybe will cause the extra repeating sections in the older forms to be
lost.
