Hi,
I have recently encountered what seems to be a bug in Excel 2007. The
described probelm appeared abruptly, after previously behaving normally. I
have tried troubleshooting the problem for hours, but nothing seems to help:
I use the data table (what if analysis> data table) for sensetivity analysis
of a DCF model in regards to Discount rate and growth rate. Upon creation of
the table, the array fills correctly. however, when changing the value in any
of the precedents' cells (i.e growth rate/ discount rate), values in the
array do not recalculate, although the basic value (the one being analyzed)
does. In case I change another factor influencing the final value, other than
the two parameters of the table, table values does change. Noting, workbook
calculation in "excel options" is set to "auto".
As mentioned, this bug started abruptly, as previously everything was
working fine. I did however, witnessed this phenomenon on another computer
while the same workbook behaved normally on mine.
reparing the insallation came fuitile. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Adir
