There appears to be a bug in Excel 2007:
Data Validation > Custom > Entering or editing a formula for evaluation:
Using the keyboard arrows to move around in TextEdit works incorrectly -
instead of moving the cursor in the editbox to the left or the right, it
moves the cell in the underlying spreadsheet and enters the cell reference in
the edit box.
Most annoying.
