Data validation (lis) question

I have a column with 210 rows and I use a data validation list to input the
data. But there are 2 problems with that, 1 is that the text (font) is too
small, 2 there does not seem to be an autocomplete function with this.

Is there any way around this?

A DV list dropdown font cannot be changed from the 8 pt. default and there
is no Autocomplete with DV

Workarounds here.
