Data Validation List with Blanks that can be edited

Hi There - thanks for reading my question.

I have a data validation list and I have included a blank, however I need
people to be about to type anything they like in the blank (edit it) as well
as still be able to see the list.

There's a tab on the Data|Validation dialog that lets you specify what kind of
checking you want to use.

Look at that "Error Alert" tab and you'll see the options.
