I hope this is the correct thread for this. I use Front Page 2003 to
edit/create pages for Sharepoint Portal Server 2003. However, I am trying to
create a data connection to an SQL2000 database; this particular database has
quite a few tables and I get an error that only says "object moved". It takes
about 2-3 minutes dor anything to happen and then I get the error. I can
connect to other SQL databases on that server, albeit databases with less
tables. Is the fact that there are "too many" tables causing this problem?

You should try asking this in the SQL Server group or the SharePoint Portal
Server group

Aren't "they" going to say it's happening in Front Page, ask the Front Page
group?
I was hoping for an answer, not a road map. Thanks!

It isn't a FrontPage issue since you can connect to other databases with
FrontPage. It's a database issue or it's an issue with SharePoint. That's
why I suggested those groups because they have more experts there. You're
only using FrontPage to edit the pages but the underlying problem isn't
caused by FrontPage. You'd get the same problem no matter what you were
using to edit the pages.

Page group?
We don't know. This is a FrontPage group, not an ESP / Fortune Teller Group.
