data1.msi not found for office 2003 for update tp SP1A

Program asks for the CD but cnt find the file on the disk. I see lots of
articles about office 2000, but no work around instructions for office 2003.
I have the proffesional version is that makes any difference

Hi Tony,

MS Office 2003 does not use Data1.msi. When you
get that dialog look at the name of the CD in the
'use feature from' box to see what product it's
looking for. You may find that you still have one
or more 2000 series applications listed in Add/Remove
Programs in the Windows control panel.
