I am attempting to upgrade the Office 2000 suite with a
service pack. I got SR-1a to install without a problem.
Now when I try to upgrade to Service Pack 3, I am asked
to put in the original Office 2000 disk that has
the "data1.msi"
I *HAVE* the original CDs. But both disk #1 and dIsk#2
have files called data2.msi, not data1.msi on them. They
both have the same size, 2,215kb and so they appear to be
the same file to me.
Is it possible that data2 is actually the correct file
with the wrong name or is data1 simply missing altogether?
How should I proceed?
