Database access

Access Confused

Is there any way around this problem. If a user with full access rights has
a database open to edit one record no other user users can access the
database even users with read only access.

It sounds like the first user may have it opened in "exclusive" mode. Also,
all users need RWXD file permissions to the parent folder.
