Hi all, I am working with an Access based product to track/help contractors
build/sell houses. Anyway, I recently converted 4 of our products from Access
2002 to Access 2007. We purchased ShrinkerStrecher
(http://www.peterssoftware.com/ss.htm) and I added the code to our products.
After that we started noticing some strange 'flashyness/jumpy' loading of our
forms (on load/open). I even had one form (with a subform) and on loading the
main form, the subform loaded/unload 17 times!. As I was in the process of
de-bugging I ended up creating a blank Access 2007 DB and then importing
everything (forms,queries,reports,etc) into it and as soon as I compiled all
the strange loading/flashyness was gone!!!?!
Does anyone know of any code/settings that would persist thru an Access
2002->Access 2007 conversion (with muiltiple compact/repair and
re-compile/saves) that would necessitate a complete re-import into a fresh
DB? Any other thoughts/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. This seams
like a strange one.
