Database Connection to Access - Sharepoint Designer

I'm trying to add a database connection to an Access Database in Sharepoint
Designer 2007 and I keep getting the "Server Error" saying that it can't
connect to the specified data source. I'm using the custom string "Data
Source=G:\path\backend.mdb;Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"

Anyone have any clues as to what the problem might be? The error doesn't
give offer much help.
