Database Damage

Ever since upgrading to Entourage 2004 version 11.2.4 (Mac OS 10.4.6),
I'm getting almost daily notices that the database is damaged and need
to be rebuilt. This has got to be a bug in either 11.2.4 or the
Database Utility. Anyone else seeing this? I saw the thread from a
few months ago, but my problem is directly related to the 11.2.4 update.

More likely is that your database has some obscure corruption that the
rebuild engine can't fix properly.

If so, the only solution is to migrate to a new database :(

Mine started erroring in 11.2.3 and never before. It has to be a bug in
the 11.2.3 update. Every time I would get the error I would verify the
database and all would be fine. I finally turned off the setting for
continuous reporting, then I quit getting the daily or more reports.
Now I get them when the database is really damaged, which seems to be
more since the 11.2.3 update.

Needless to say, they really screwed this one up.

No, it's not.

No, they didn't.

We've been through this before.

As you have been advised previously Bob, you should not be surprised to see
problems arising when you deliberately turned off and ignored warnings about
your database being damaged.

You really need to migrate to a new database and your whole experience with
Entourage will probably be vastly improved.

I've upgraded 10 out of 250 clients thus far to 11.2.4 with no issues.
