hi

I am wanting a database where I can add exercises, descriptions and pictures
for my personal training. I've search the net for templates but can't find
anything near to it! Can anyone help me out??

Hi,

There is a professional site for a database of pictures that many gyms use.
It is www.physigraphe.com. (This is not spam or an attempt at advertising).
But it is unfortunately not free, you have to buy the CD. As for creating a
database, if you are at all familiar with Access it should be fairly simple
to create a database with some or all of the following fields :

date
body part
exercise description
number of sets
number of reps
cardio machine
cardio minutes
heartrate
workout comments (i.e how you felt that day)

You can even add in fields if you like for :

weight
hours of sleep

Hope this helps,
Liane

Timbits35 - thats great- ive had a look at the site and definatley
considering it. However, I am still determined to use access so I can use my
own photos in it. I havnt used access for years so Im finding it slightly
hard! Ive created a table named 'exercise'. In it i have the name of the
exercise, the body area, teaching points and a photo showing it- no problem
there. What I would like to know now is how do I create a form so that you
can search for an exercise, and then select it to add to the report? So far
the report I have created is just showing all the exercises I have added to
the database?! I know this is probably very simple to do but Im stuck!!! Any
help would be greatly appreciated!
