Database hours are one day earlier than project plan hours

QUESTION 1:
-------------
Project Server 2007: Currently trying to write solid queries for retrieving
actual work hours by day.

In targeting the ProjectServer_Reporting.dbo.MSP_EpmAssignmentByDay_UserView
view for a specific task, assignment, and day, I found that on 2007-Nov-29,
there is 1 hour for AssignmentActualWork.

However, when I look in the Task Usage view or Resource Usage view in
Project client, that 1 hour of work shows up for 2007-Nov-30 (one day later).
In fact, every day's actual hours in the database for that task are one day
earlier than the actual Project plan. As far as I can tell, the plan is
correct, and the database appears to be one day early. I double checked the
host server's datetime and it is the same as my client machine.

Is this a known issue?

-------------
QUESTION 2:
-------------
I downloaded Project 2007 service pack 1, and attempted to install it on the
server that is hosting Project Server 2007, but the install routine said
there was not software installed on that system that would be affected by the
service pack.

Aren't there updates to Project Server in Service Pack 1?

Q1 - check calendar settings and calendar options (in each plan) match

Q2 - the only time I have seen this is when running the patch on the
SQL box rather than the Project Server - fortunately the patches can
tell the difference!!!
