I am accessing an Excel Spreadsheet via forms in an ASP
page. When I publish to my own PC (I installed IIS and
Frontapge Extensions) it works OK. The database
connection is via a 'file' on the PC.
When I publish it to the web (via a host service) it
stops working. It just goes away, and doesn't return the
results page. It is recognising the excel spreadsheet,
because if I cancel it (after several minutes) it
sometimes has one record from the database displayed.
The web host company tells me it appears to work on their
server locally, but not through the internet. They seem
to think it has something to do with the DSN setting. I
thought FronPage (Version 2002) did all that stuff?
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Steve
