Database modeling to SQL

I'm new to using VISIO to model tables in a db, so bear w/ me.

I've created what I want in a table in Visio. I see all of these neat
things that 'say' they can allow me to update a tabel in SQL w/ the data
that I've created in VISIO.

1. How? Is there a link somewhere on the web (like a 'how-to') that can
show me how

2. Does the table in SQL have to actually exsist first?

It should be in the help facility, assuming you are using the visio
enterprise architect edition that came with vs.net (ea).

Thanks! I got my company to move me included up to VS.net 2k3 and
installed the Visio Ent Arch that came w/ it. Now it's a breeze!
