This is actually a two part question.
In about a week, our database name is going to change. Currently it is
ProjectServer0000 and will be changing to something else. I noticed on the
Project Server, there is a system DSN that was automatically created during
installation called PC11DSN. It is configured with a SYSTEM account;
therefore, when I want to change the default database to connect to, I cannot
access that window where it needs to be changed.
Does anyone know how I can change this?
The second part of the question is that we will be changing the server name
and instance name. I know how I can change this in the system dsn; however,
I'm wondering what impact that will have on web server and/or the desktops
that connect to the database.
Thanks in advance for any help.
