I have a Access 2000 project that multiple users use on
the network (approximately 12 users). The project resides
on the server and each user has a shortcut to it. It is
an access frontend and the backend is SQL server. I have
not had any problems in the past with getting the error
message "Database needs to be repaired". The last 2 to 3
months though it has been occurring pretty frequently.
Sometimes it will be once a week and sometimes it will
occur as frequently as 3 to 4 times a day.
I have tried creating an mde file, starting fresh and
creating a new database and importing all the
forms, queries, reports, modules and macros and I am still
getting the problem. All of the users have Service Pack 3
for Office 2000.
Is there a way to completely get rid of the error or is
that just bound to happen?
If anyone has a fix I would greatly appreciate it!!
Thanks,
John
