I had never before seen an .mdb where Access doesn't ask
you to save if you've made a change to a database object
until we received an .mdb from Europe. If you make any
change to a design object, let's say a query for example,
and exit, the object is saved automatically. According to
Access Help, if you have made a change since the last time
the object was saved, it always asks if you want to save.
I checked to be sure there is a date/time on the object
prior to current date/time.. Is there a global setting
anywhere? I have checked for modules or other VBA code
that might be set to autosave but found none. I also
created a new database and imported all the objects but
find the same behavior. I even added a new object and it
acts like all the others - doesn't ask me to save.
Any ideas?
