Database Permission Settings

Hello all,
I'm a newbie with Access and had a (hopefully) simple question. I
have a database that is basically one table and I want to load it up on
another computer. I've made the database on my home computer. I uploaded
it (the .mdb file) to my work computer, but when I try to access it I
get the following error message:

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file 'blah.mdb'. It is
already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to
view its data.


How do I grant permission to open the database on another computer?

One option would be to copy the system database (.mdw file) from your home
computer to your work computer and have Access use the same system database
on your work computer.

You can determine the name and location of the system database by using the
Tools/Security/WorkGroup Administrator menu option. You can copy this file
to your work computer and use the same option to point Access (at work) to
use this file. The system database holds the security and permissions
information for the database.
