A number of the PDS methods require the SQL Server SPID as an argument. As
far as I understand, the correct way to get the SPID is to call the
GetLoginInformation method, use the returned information to create a direct
connection to the database, and run a query to retrieve the SPID for that
connection. I noticed that the GetLoginInformation reply does not return the
port number for the database. How is one to create a connection to a database
running on an alternate port? Is this a limitation of Project Server 2003?
