Database Results Filtering

Mick

I am using an Access database, and use the FP2003 DBRW to report the results
onto an ASP page. Is it possible to then delete one or more records from the
list (or edit a record), and then relist the remaining records without the
deleted records? Thanks in advance.

Hi Stefan, thanks for your response, I dont think I defined the problem well
enough. I dont want to change the database as I want to keep all the records
intact and unchanged. I am trying to delete some of the "reported" records.
e.g. 15 records match my criteria and are reported using the DBR feature in
FP. I want to intervene at this stage and trim them down to say 10 records on
the page by manually editing out the unwanted results, and then I want to
email the remaining results onwards.
Sorry my definition was not too clear, hope this is better. Thanks

The answer is still in the link I posted
- but you are pushing the DBRW beyond its limited capabilities

That was quick!!! Thanks Stefan, Im not sure I have the skill to do this,
perhaps a "bridge too far" for both me and the DBRW. Thanks again

To get past the DBRW
