Database set-up

Lisa

I have a database that I am in the process of revamping.
We call it Discrepant Material...We have parts that are
machined and messed-up, they need to be tracked so that we
know what the problems are on a part and who caused the
problem (Machine operator or vendor). Currently, I have a
table with the list of discrepancies, but now that list is
very long. I have a form set-up with a combo box for Part
#, Discrepancy, Vendor Name, etc... I was wondering if
there is a way to enter the part # from the parts combo
box and then have it associated with a list of
discrepancies just for that part? What I have is working
well for us but the list of discrepancies is so long that
sometimes you have to search longer through the list for
the correct wording for that parts discrepancy. This
probably doesn't make any sense to anyone, but I thought I
would give it a shot.
Thanks~
Lisa
