database template fields say "recordset not updateable

I downloaded a "Time and Billing" template to use with access 2007 in vista.
I can update some fields, but when I try and change the sample hours, total,
etc on the invoices, it says the recordset is not updateable. How can I
clear the sample database info and start fresh?
