Database Template, Relationship Shape, Cardinality on the Parent e

I am using Visio 2003. I am trying to create an entity/relationship diagram
using the Database template. I have it set for Relational and to show Crow's
Feet. When I create a 1-many relationship, it is always created as a 0 or 1
to 0 or more. The relationship miscellaneous properties has a check box for
Child Has Parent, Optional, but it is grayed out and checked as optional. I
DO NOT WANT THIS. How can I get the check box enabled so I can set it how I
want it?
