Database templates for Acess 2003

I open "New Office Documents " and go to the "database" tab. Instead of
the Access icons I see a Winamp icon. When I click on the icon, it tries to
open it up using winamp. The extesions are correct for Access templates
..mdz. I even uninstalled Winamp. But it doesn't work. Any help would be
much appreciated.

Don't use the "new office doc" crap thing. Just open access and click new.
If you have a file association problem, open windows explorer, go tools,
file types and make sure that ther "mdb" extension is associated with ms
access.

Even Better check that .mdb points to acccess.application.X in Registry
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\CLASSES_ROOT)
where X is your Access version (ie 11 for Office 2003)
