Database updates not reflected in shape's text

I have an organisation chart which was generated from data in a Sybase table.
It generated fine. Now if an update is made to the db table and I use
right-click 'Refresh shape properties' the details in the Custom Properties
are updated ok, however the text in the shape (which is made up of two of the
shape's properties) does not change to reflect the update. Even re-selecting
the database record does not affect the text. There's not much point in
connecting to a database if changes can't be seen in the drawing! Please can
someone advise...

It sounds like the Organization Chart add-on is not running. You might try
starting a new Org Chart from the template and then copy your diagram over
to the blank document.

Thanks Mark. Unfortunately this did not work. The text still does not update.
Don't know if it is a factor but I am using Version Visio (R) Standard 5.0c
(we will be upgrading when we move to XP in the near future). However I would
think that this should still work or there would be no point in connecting to
a database.

Sorry, I don't recall whether this was supposed to work in Visio 5.0. The
Org Chart feature and the Database Wizard feature do not talk to each other,
so you are relying on the Refresh operation putting data into the shape in a
place where Org Chart knows to find it and shove it into text.
