Databased website in Frontpage 2003

the problem is that FP 2003 makes the database-file in the map "fpdb", but my
serverhost obligates me to put the database-file in the map "_private", if
not it's not writable.

The asp script which FP 2003 generates doesn't work after uploading. So that
means that i have to write myself a script........ i haven't got the
slightest idea how.... cany somebody help me?

Move the database from fpdb to _private then change the global.asa file to point to the db in _private.

Hi Mike,

this is the error that Frontpage shows after checking for problems.

file '_private/database1.mdb' that is not in the special web folder 'fpdb'
created by FrontPage. Move the file into this folder to avoid potential
security problems.
