Hi,
I've set up a database that takes its primary data from an Excel spreadsheet
dumpfile. Each record is viewed in Access using a form and other data
(primarily text fields and check boxes) is added in other fields on the form
that are also in the spreadsheet.
As I use a winterm that has a habit of disconnecting from the server without
warning, I'm trying to ensure that each record is saved when I close the
form using a command button, but I can't seem to achieve this using the On
Close event procedure for the form or a command button on the form.
Is this related to the data being external to the database and if so, would
it be better to import the data directly into Access?
TIA,
Peter
