datasheet form size

Access 2007. It might just be when copying the db (I'm in development
stage with it), but I adjust the form size in datasheet (design) view,
save it. Close/open it, and the size is the same. Come back a day or
two later and it is much bigger.

are we talking one form or several forms.
Have you checked for code in the form which might change its size.
Have you checked the size to fit and the vertical and horizontal anchors for
any controls on the form.
Presumably you are not using tabbed forms.
Does this form open acDialog to one size, but open bigger when opened from
the nav pane?

Several forms.

I am not aware of any code that can set the width of a datasheet. If
there is, I'd love to hear about it!

No, I am not in this case using a tabbed forms, and I do not open the
form in acDialog.

Anchors - to be honest, I haven't explored that, but will, but for
sure I have not changed the default settings either in code or design
mode.

Also be aware that when any form is opened maximized, all subsequent forms
will open maximized until you code them not to do so. So a form may open up
one size, if it's the first form you open with a given session, but open up
larger if you open a form maximized, then open your original form.
