DataValdation from list

Hello,
I would like to know how to restrict data to come only
from a list that exists in another workbook.
For example the lists of data are in a
workbook 'Lists.xls' and each sheet is named
(eg.) 'Customer List', 'Job List'. What do I enter for the
source in the data validation window and do I need a
formula on the worksheet?

Hi

Mirror the list sheets in main workbook, using links (you can hide them
afterwards). Define mirrored lists as named ranges. In Data Validation,
refer to named ranges.
