Date Auto Update

A

Andy Palm

I use the hotkey Shift+Alt+D to insert dates in my
documents, and found that the format can be changed by
changing the default in the Insert Date menu. But, and
this is vexing, even though I have unchecked the Update
Automatically box, the dates inserted with the hotkey get
updated. Is there a way to turn this off?

Thx

Alt+Shift+D inserts a DATE field. There is no built-in shortcut to insert
date text, though AutoComplete will help some.
